We loved our stay especially lounging on the lovely decking area and enjoying a cozy hot cocoa while taking in the stunning views. The hotel offers a fantastic garden area to relax and a sun terrace perfect for soaking up the sun. The only downside was that the food was a bit too salty for our taste, but overall, it was a wonderful experience! 😊

This place is stunning! We had an amazing time watching the friendly highland cows in the field while enjoying the spectacular views of Loch Melfort. The spacious room with a sea view was perfect for our family, and the kids loved the hot chocolate treat in the evenings.
My kids wished there were more activities for younger children.

I had a clean, comfortable stay in a sea view lodge. The view of the loch was stunning, especially with the Highland cattle grazing nearby. Breakfast choices exceeded my expectations and the hearty full Scottish breakfast hit the spot. I dined at the hotel for dinner, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and quality of the dishes, particularly the seafood options. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. One downside was the dated furnishings and decor. I found the carpet patterns old-fashioned and the bathroom could use an upgrade. The room had a slight smell upon entering, reminiscent of an old caravan. the sound insulation was poor, leading to disturbances from my neighbors. Despite these issues, the stay was enjoyable and I appreciated the pleasant service.

Stunning panoramic views of the loch and surrounding hills offer a picturesque backdrop for any stay. The access to the loch via a charming path adds a touch of adventure, especially with the grazing Highland cattle nearby—the kids loved it. In the evenings, the cozy lounge with its open fire creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for relaxation after a day of exploring.
The external decor, particularly in the newer extensions, looks a bit outdated, making it feel less cohesive with the primary building's charm. I noticed some furniture and fixtures in the room need an update, especially in the bathroom where older fittings were less than appealing. While the restaurant had a pleasing menu, the slow dinner service left something to be desired, especially having to wait too long for our meals when the place was busy. I also observed a few noise issues from the neighboring bistro, which occasionally disrupted the serene ambiance one would expect in such a location.
